Wander St. George Island is an oceanfront beach home with a private boardwalk out to the sparkling sands in one of the most serene sections of the Forgotten Coast ranked as the #1 beach in the US. This brand-new, single-level, multi-suite home features a wall of windows leading out to a quiet deck with uninterrupted views of the private wading pool and the white sand beach. This five-suite + additional bunk room house comfortably sleeps up to 20 guests.

Enjoy waterfront views in a laid-back atmosphere as you feast on a shrimp basket, some fried calamari, or perhaps oysters on the half-shell. There is also a 50" flat-screen TV and a full bar with wine, beer, and liquor.

You can check out their list of beers with descriptions and current on-tap specials online. You can visit the tap room for unique brews paired with breathtaking views of the bay.
The Owl Tap Room
A brewery featuring 16 taps flowing with ice-cold OCBC brews, and a great selection of craft beer, wine, and a full bar. Reserved seating is not available and is first-come, first served, so make sure to get there early.
Apalachicola Bee Company
Tupelo honey thrives along Florida’s coast and Apalachicola Bee Company uses this delicacy to craft its premium quality mead. But don’t fret, if you’re not interested in mead, the garden courtyard is also a great place to enjoy local craft beer, wines, and champagne.

St. George Island Lighthouse
A historical landmark built in 1852, survived 153 years. You can climb it for $5 for those ages 12 and up. You can also visit the lighthouse museum and the boutique gift shop which is open all year round.

Raney House Museum
You can now relive Apalachicola history by visiting this 1800s, cotton trade era, mansion, and museum. Today the home exhibits furniture, documents, and artifacts of the 19th century for visitors to enjoy for free.
Island Dog Outdoors
A rental outdoor company offering four or six-passenger golf carts, stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, bikes, trikes, and volleyball sets. Open daily.
Apalachicola Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve
Visitors enter along a winding nature path and learn about local habitat types and proceed to a coastal walk from the Nature Center to the shoreline. Visit the website to get PDF/printable brochures and maps of the area.
Dr. Julian G. Bruce St. George Island State Park
A state park offering stunning views of Gulf of Mexico sunsets, miles of undeveloped beaches, and ample opportunities for nature walks, tanning, and water sports. Be sure to bring cash as there is a $6 parking fee per vehicle.
Scipio Creek Boardwalk
A spectacular view of the Apalachicola River estuary awaits on this beautiful nature trail and boardwalk. If you have binoculars or a camera, consider bringing them along to get a closer look at the ample wildlife that surrounds you.
